Nintendo Confirms GameCubes At E3 |

hanks to a broken Wii game and a quick attendee this picture above has been floating around the internet since E3 has ended. The picture shows speculation that in fact all of the Wii's you saw at E3 were nothing but a box with some lights. The the Wii titles were being played on Gamecube's with Wii developement kits. Because of this picture Nintendo of America has confirmed that Wii games were being played through GameCubes. Not just any GameCubes, Wii hardware embedded in a GameCube, "made specifically for the E3 show and is not the final mass-production version." Remember all of the PS3's this year were running on dev kits, and last year all the Xbox 360 demos were running on G5's. More pictures after the jump...
